The Process

Our process has 3 steps.

1. Analysis for sample location

All existing information of the farm or investigation area is collected and evaluated to form units of commonality known as unequal strata, within which sample locations are randomly generated.

2. Measurement

Though measurement can be done by any approved methods, including the use of sensors, currently sampling and analysis remain the cheapest method. The measurement method used is a matter of cost and scientific validity and (apart from error) does not impact the algorithm used.

3. Delivery of certificate and map

The measurement made at the different locations within the unequal strata are used via our patented process to derive a certificate of the Total Carbon stock in tonnes/hectare or Mg/ha as well as derive the soil carbon distribution map.
